TESTING
2012 HERE WE COME!
Some exciting things are happening at The Rhythm Room. In addition to a handful of fanatical new tap students, we have a teachers' collaborative/class that has been running succesfully since September. This is something I have wnated to make happen for a long time and I'm so thrilled to be dancing with this gang. We have shared, taught, listened laughed, and laughed till we cried. (well crying most recently from Danny Nielsen's cardio flap warm up and the thigh burn it caused) It's inspiring to have this group of people meeting every week just to hang out. Nothing but good can happen from this. Stay tuned as you will be hearing more about this seed.
TAP JAM: Congratulations to Dayna Szyndrowski and Danny Nielsen on the success of their latest tap jam at Kino Cafe. It was great to go and see/hear some live tap with great live music. My own little munchkin, Olivia even insisted on getting up and doing a short rendition of "Itsy Bitsy Spider". It was fun to hang out with a tap enthusiastic crowd and I hope they do it again soon.
SANTA LOVES TAPPERS! Tappin' Time Products was overwhelmed with inquiries and sales of The Tappin' Floor over the holidays. We are even starting to get inquiries from overseas! What I thought was a super limited market has turned out to be a hot item! Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open as Danny Nielsen is sporting one and if you're lucky, you'll catch him around town giving it a whirl.

Along with that, I hope to be able to blog about all of the funny, poignant and random things in and around my world of tap dance.
